The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Hello there~

So after New Year , I've been planning to do a bigger project , since I'll get my tablet on christmas and need something to work and practice on . I've decided to feature some OCs in my first drawings . It's for practice and fun [ Since I doubt that I'll be able to draw any picture full of perfection after a few days with the new tablet ] and I bet it'll be nice to draw something different or a creation of someone else .

About the project :
I was planning to put the OCs , which I recieve [ If I get enough together ] into groups of 3 . Those will be based on their outlooks and how they fit to the theme in which I will draw them in . Here they are ! :

- China / Japan
- Black / White
- School
- Nature

I will accept 11 OCs [ One of them will be mine ] . Everyone can hand in SEVERAL characters , but only one will get in .

About the original characters :
- ANY fandom is fine , I just won't draw in an specific style . I'll draw them all in MINE , so don't be disappointed
- I do prefere female characters , since I'm really new to male ones . But we can talk about it .
- Please don't lend me any characters , which are SUPER hard to draw and have a VERY complicated design [ Hair / Face ] , keep in mind I never used a tablet before !
- The clothes and poses will be MY choice
